Course Recognition
The Continuing Education courses receive credit hours according to guidelines of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, ADA CERP, and the Academy of General Dentistry in the United States (1 credit hour per hour of lecture time, and 1.5 credit hours per hour of hands-on participation).
Course Location and Registration
All lectures and "hands-on" courses are held at the Faculty of Dentistry, 124 Edward
St., Toronto, Ontario, unless otherwise stated in our brochures. Registration begins one hour
prior to the course start time. The registration desk will stay open for the first hour of the course.
We ask all participants to sign in at the registration desk, from where you will be directed to the
appropriate clinic or lecture room.
Course Payments
Courses can be paid for by credit card (VISA, Mastercard or American Express) or cheque. We do not accept cash. Cheques are made payable to University of Toronto. Registration is available online, at a reduced fee; by fax (416-979-4941); or by phone (416-979-4902, x. 2).
Receipts and R.C.D.S. Credits
Participants receive a letter of attendance, indicating the credit hours achieved. An educational tax receipt is also provided at the time of registration. If the course is more than
one day or runs over a series of days, tax receipts and attendance letters will be issued on the last
sign-in day.
Refreshments
Coffee breaks are provided for all courses. Other food provided will be noted on the course announcement.
