Job Description:

The Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Biological and Diagnostic Sciences, invites applications for a full-time tenure-stream position in Oral Microbiology. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, and will begin on July 1, 2010. We seek highly motivated candidates with research interests focusing on prokaryotic microbiology related to any aspects of oral health science. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and have a record of discipline-specific postdoctoral research training by the time of appointment. Evidence of excellence in teaching and research is required.

Applicants should have a strong interest in pursuing cross-disciplinary research in the health sciences and leading a grant-funded research program that promotes collaboration with other University of Toronto departments and departments at other universities. Salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
