About the Catalogue

The online catalogue

Almost all of the Dental Library's materials can be found in the Library Catalogue -- the online catalogue for all University of Toronto libraries. For information on how to search the catalogue, please see Introduction to the Library Catalogue.

The following Dental Library items do not appear in the online catalogue:

  • Rare books -- These are in the card catalogue only.
  • Slides -- Most of these are not catalogued; there is a printed list of the orthodontics slides in the library.

Starting January 2009, the University of Toronto Catalogue will change interface. Please click here to see a quick search guide using the new Endeca powered UTL Catalogue.

The card catalogue

The Dental Library does still have a card catalogue, in the Reading Room, but we stopped adding to it in 2000; new materials only appear in the online catalogue.
