Alumni & Friends: Bench & Bar Campaign

Campaign Background

St. Michaels College has always taken great pride in providing residences for its students, recognizing that one’s deepest friendships and fondest memories can be formed through the experience. The restoration and upgrading of the historic Century homes on Elmsley Place (McCorkell House, Sullivan House, Maritain House and Gilson House) must be completed if they are to continue to be a safe and healthy environment for our students.

We Need Your Support

The University of St. Michael’s College needs to raise a total of $4 million for the restoration of the historic Century homes used as student residences on Elmsley Place.

Alumni and friends of the St. Michael’s community have launched The Bench and Bar Campaign designed to engage those in the legal profession.

The goal of the Bench and Bar Campaign is to raise $750,000.

Participants will be honoured by unique naming opportunities in the residences being restored, as well as on a special plaque to be hung in More House, honouring the patron saint of lawyers, St. Thomas More.
