Ireland fund donates to celtic studies program Writer / artist-in-residence program
On Wednesday, April 16, a reception was held in President Alway's office to mark the first anniversary of the Celtic Studies Program Writer/Artist-in-Residence Program. At the reception, Eithne Heffernan, Vice-Chair of the Ireland Fund of Canada, presented a cheque on behalf of the Fund to the Acting Principal of St. Michael's College, Yves Roberge. The first writer-in-residence was Bernard MacLaverty, who was on campus for the month of October 2007. The Program is happy to announce that the next writer-in-residence will be Claire Keegan, who will be on campus for the month of March 2009.
