The Chesterton Collection includes over 3000 volumes connected with the life and work of the English journalist, G.K. Chesterton (1874-1936).
The Newman Collection includes over 1000 volumes connected with the life and work of the nineteenth-century English theologian, the Venerable John Henry Newman.
The Counter-Reformation Collection includes over 3500 volumes of primary source materials showing the Catholic response to the Protestant Reformation up to the time of the French Revolution.
The Soulerin Collection represents the pre-Confederation library of St. Michael's College. The collection numbers almost 900 volumes (some 700 titles), most of which date from the late 18th or the early 19th century.
The Henri J.M. Nouwen Archives and Research Collection documents the life and work of Henri J.M. Nouwen
(1932 - 1996). The collection includes the vast majority of Nouwen's manuscripts and published works, as well as secondary material about Nouwen.
The Joseph Sablé Centre for 19th Century French Studies (Centre d'études du 19 siècle francais Joseph Sablé) is made up of two parts:
the Sablé Collection of some 12,000 volumes on French Romanticism.
the Zola Collection includes all the works of Emile Zola as well as many works by other Naturalists and a number of French literary journals.
The St. Michael's Publications Collection includes publications by individuals who have been members of the faculty, staff, or student body of the University of St. Michael's College. It includes
works published from 1813 to the present.
