ABOUT LORETTO COLLEGE

Loretto College is a modern residence located on the University of St. Michael's College campus at the University if Toronto. The College is operated by the Loretto Sisters and, during the school year, it is home to approximately 160 female students.

LOCATION

Loretto College is located on St. Mary Street, just south of the intersection of Bay and Bloor Streets, in the heart of downtown Toronto. Guests of Loretto College are within easy walking distance of Queen's Park, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the renowned shopping districts of Yorkville and Bloor Street. Loretto College is also close to main bus and subway routes, providing easy access to the rest of Toronto, including such attractions as the CN Tower, the Toronto Islands and the Theatre District. FACILITIES

• Loretto College is a modern residence featuring well-appointed single and double rooms with large windows, comfortable common rooms with televisions, laundry facilities and a Chapel.
• Each residence room contains a bed, desk, study lamp, bookshelves, bulletin board, drawers and a closet.
• Pillows, sheets, and blankets are provided for guests.
• Linens are changed on a weekly basis. The double rooms contain two single beds.
• All rooms are equipped with a phone jack and cable outlet for guests who wish to have services arranged.
• There are single-sex shared bathroom facilities serving the single rooms and ensuite bathrooms serving the double rooms.

PARKING

There is no onsite parking for guests or visitors. Metered parking is available on the street and there are pay parking lots available on the St. Mike's Campus. See St. Mike's Parking Services

SECURITY

Loretto College is a secure building with one main entrance. A porter provides twenty-four hour security for residents and all guests must be buzzed into the building.

REGULATIONS

Visitors

Visiting Hours are between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. All visitors must sign in. Visitors must be accompanied by a resident at all time. No visitors are permitted to stay overnight.

Keys

Upon arrival keys are issued to guests by the porter. A $25 key deposit will be charged at this time and will be refunded upon return of the key.

Loretto College is a SMOKE FREE environment.
