In March of each year all students living in the SMC Residence will receive a letter from the Dean of Students inviting them to re-apply to residence for the following year.
Those wishing to return will be required to submit their completed application along with a $500 deposit by Friday March 30th, 2007. The deposit is fully refundable until the last day of the current residence term (i.e. May 11th, 2007). After that a partial refund of $250 will be provided until August 15, 2007. After August 15th, 2007 the deposit is not refundable. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel applications from those who fall short of our academic minimums or who receive a negative evaluation from their don at year's end. In such situations, students will be given their full deposit back. Students who still have outstanding residence fees must pay their account in full before their applications will be considered.
Formal offers of residence for returning students will be sent out by email in late May. Offers will be sent to the email address provided on the application form. If your summer contact information changes after submitting your application, please be sure to inform the Dean's Office right away.
Students who are not currently residing at St. Mike's but who lived here in previous years and want to return, should apply as a Returning Student.
