St. Michael's College, U of TOur Bar Services include a host bar system and a cash bar system.
The most popular option at receptions and formal events, the host bar is billed based on total consumption of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage at the event. Therefore, what you don't use, you don't pay for. We provide all necessary bar staff . Bartender/s will be provided to you at the cost of $16.50 per hour for a minimum of four hours per staff. The same charges will apply in the event that you request additional staff, other than those staffed.
At our cash bars, each guest pays for his/her own drink. Your account will be billed a $90.00 set-up fee and all bar staff will be provided free of charge. In the event that you wish to have additional staff, other than those staffed, you will be charged $16.50 per hour for a minimum of four hours per each additional staff.
The University handles all Bars and Alcoholic beverages. ABSOLUTELY no alcohol is to be brought on Campus.
In the event that you wish to have a special wine served at your function, our office will gladly order it in for you. You will be required to specify the amount that you want us to order and any leftovers at the end of the function will be the responsibility of the organizer. You will be charged at cost plus 100% per bottle ordered.
All applicable taxes will be added to the above listed options. Remember that it is the responsibility of all to ensure that there is responsible drinking at all events. We recommend that a designated driver system be in effect at all functions serving alcoholic beverages and that all guests be occasionally monitored to ensure responsible drinking.
