St. Michael's College, U of TLocation: Brennan Hall, 2nd floor
Throughout the year the Canada Room provides a pleasant setting for the residents to have their daily meals at The University of St. Michael's College. The oak-paneled hall is decorated with the arms of Canada, the shields of people, and institutions connected with our history. On the east wall is a reproduction of ‘St Michael’ by the Guido Reni (died 1642). Nearby on the north wall is the 17th-century “Portrait of a Gentleman,” attributed to Peter Lely. Over the dish window is a portrait Rev. James McConica, c.s.b., OC., President of USMC 1984-1990; and on the west wall, “Our Lady of Wisdom,” showing Mary with bay Jesus surrounded by four great Catholic thinkers—Augustine, Ambrose, Gregory, and Jerome (19th century).
Bag Lunches
Bagged lunches are available Monday to Friday for those with academic commitments that prevent them from attending the regular meal time. We ask that you give the cashier 24 hours notice when requesting bag meals.
Guests
Residents are encouraged to bring guests to the Canada Room. All guests of students with meal plans will be charged a discounted student guest price.
Policy on Missed Meals
Since our meal plan is priced on the assumption that all students will miss a certain percentage of their meals, we are unable to issue refunds for missed meals.
