Dates for Requesting Graduation
There are deadlines by which you need to request graduation. For a list of these dates refer to Refer to the Sessional Dates in your Calendar.
If you miss the deadline to request graduation, you must contact the office of the Registrar as soon as possible.
- Don't get left behind: Are you approaching the final phase of an undergraduate degree?
- Will you satisfy all program and degree requirements?
- Do you know that you will need at least 6.0 full credits at the 300 or 400-level for an Honours Degree?
- Have you complied with the Faculty’s Exclusions policy as explained in the Calendar?
Degree requirements appear in the Faculty of Arts & Science Calendar at <http://www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca/ofr/calendar/degree.htm>. If you are unsure about your degree or program requirements and you intend on graduating in the near future, you are strongly advised to:
- make an appointment with an academic counsellor to make sure that you have met the degree requirements,
AND - check with the relevant department to ensure that you have also met the program requirements,
AND - review the following degree checklist.
In this way you will be sure that you are indeed eligible to graduate!!!
