How do I Apply for Admission to the University of Toronto?
What is a College?
A College is a neighbourhood within which a student may live in residence in addition to study and socialize. Every student in the Faculty of Arts & Science enjoys membership in a college. St. Michael’s College welcomes all students and is one of the oldest and largest colleges on the St. George Campus. What college a student chooses is purely a personal choice. No personal profile is required.
Why do students join a College?
Your college provides you with personal contact, academic advising and other student services, scholarships and advice on financial planning, student societies and athletics, as well as all the features of student life outside the classroom you expect to enrich your university experience. Residences are associated with colleges.
What amenities are available at St. Michael’s College?
St. Michael’s College offers a full range of amenities available to all of our students. Some of which include: Kelly Library, Writing Centre, Math Aid Centre, student council, student newspaper, clubs, cafeteria, starbucks coffee, residences and meeting spaces.
What programs are offered at U of T?
The University of Toronto is the largest university in Canada, offering hundreds of programs and thousands of courses. When will I hear?
Once you apply, we will mail/email information to keep you up-to-date on things and happenings of interest at UofT. The University will then respond to your application as soon as your application file is ready to be considered. We make some preliminary offers in March/April, and others in May. All Ontario High School students will receive an answer no later than May 26, 2008. All other students are considered on an ongoing basis.
