GOALS
This program is designed to strengthen the religious basis of the individual's life and work, whether in a secular career or church-related career, by providing the individual with a general theological understanding as well as the opportunity for some in-depth study and specialization. The curriculum is organized:
- To assist the student in developing a basic understanding and literacy in Systematic, Historical and Pastoral Theology and Biblical Studies.
- To introduce the student to a more in-depth study of some issues in each of the above areas.
- To enhance and deepen the student's ability to reflect theologically.
- To assist the student in designing a program of studies that respects and builds upon the individual's interests, abilities and past experiences and helps the individual prepare for future options.
Students may complete the degree in one of two ways: the Field Education Option or the Thesis Option.
