On behalf of the Student Life Committee SLC, I wish to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students for the 2007-2008 academic year. Through its various activities, the SLC is committed to fostering a community of fellowship, worship and service among the students at the Faculty of Theology. We offer opportunities for students to augment their academic life by sharing it with colleagues and friends.

The SLC Registration Form gives you an opportunity to get involved in the student life at St. Michael’s College through our email correspondence, our student directory handbook and occasions to share your insights.
We look forward to seeing you at our weekly liturgical celebration every Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 in the chapel of the Cardinal Flahiff Centre. Following our liturgy, we invite everyone to a weekly social in the Elliott Allen Lounge. We often celebrate special liturgies for members of our community. Fill out the SLC REGISTRATION FORM to receive information about special upcoming liturgies.
The SLC is proud to host social events throughout the year. We are looking forward to the annual Niagara Wine Tour, the Epiphany Party, some social justice initiatives, weekly pub/restaurant nights and the Mardi Gras festivities, to name a few. These events are announced via email so get your name on the list!
We invite all students to get involved in student life. Basic and advanced degree students in all programs of study are invited to come out to our events, to join the various committees, or to show that you’re part of the community by wearing Faculty of Theology apparel. The SLC will be hosting the Welcome Day Barbecue, where we look forward to collecting your SLC REGISTRATION FORM and answering any questions you might have.

Our office is located in room 218 at the Faculty of Theology. During the first week of classes, someone from the SLC will be there all day. Please stop by and introduce yourself. Information about events and the SLC will be readily available and you can also purchase apparel.

Weekly Events
Liturgy : All members of the St. Michael’s Faculty of Theology community are welcome join in our weekly liturgical celebrations on Wednesday afternoons at 1:30 in the chapel in the Cardinal Flahiff Centre. If you are interested in serving the worshiping community by participating in the choir or assisting with organizing liturgies, please complete and return the SLC REGISTRY FORM, or speak with Delores Lanni or Morgan Rice.
Social: Following our weekly liturgical services, we invite everyone to a reception in the Elliott Allen Lounge. The social begins at about 2:30 p.m., and provides a great way to meet other students and to get to know the faculty and staff.
